For use with any 24 volt AC irrigation\r\ntimer\/controller. Unique reverse-flow design helps prevent flooding in the\r\nevent of internal diaphragm failure keeping the valve closed and saving water.\r\nValve operates automatically or manually with manual bleed screw. Buna-N\r\n(nitrile rubber) diaphragm offers superior performance in harsh water\r\nenvironments. Features an energy-efficient, low power encapsulated solenoid\r\nwith captured plunger. May be used with all types of watering devices\r\nincluding Rain Bird spray heads, rotors, and impacts. In-Line valves are\r\ninstalled below ground in a valve box downstream from the main line from a PVB\r\nor double-check valve. After installation and before startup, always flush the\r\nsystem of dirt and debris manually using the valve's external bleed screw. In-\r\nLine valves will not prevent back flow on their own; they require a back flow\r\nprevention device.
