Vibra-TITE 542 can be used in a broad variety of\napplications such as locks keys and splines, eliminates backlash in worn\nassemblies, locks bearings in place, preventing spin out, bonds rotor to shaft\nin low horsepower motors, locks bushings and sleeves in housings and on\nshafts, restores the fit to worn assemblies or out-oftolerance parts. This\nhigh viscosity product is not recommended for extremely close or interference\nfits. For large gaps, use of Vibra-TITE primer to ensure a fast, full cure is\nadvisable. Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease before\nuse. Product is normally hand applied from the bottle onto parts. Fixture\nSpeed with Primer is \u0026lt;5 minutes. Fixture Speed without Primer is 10-60 minutes\nat 77 degree F. Shelf Life is 12 months at 68 degree F. 24 hours at 68 degree\nF Full Cure Time. Product should be stored in a cool and dry location at\ntemperatures between -10 degree C to 30 degree C. Optimal storage is 22 +\/- 4\ndegree C.
