- Carbon rods are non-metallic products. As a necessary pre-welding cutting consumable in the carbon arc gouging cutting process, they are made of carbon, graphite and appropriate binders, and are formed by extrusion. Widely used in the shipbuilding industry, highway and bridge construction, steel industry, oil pipeline, etc., mainly used for full penetration weld formed by double-sided welding.

- After baking at 2200C, it is made by plating a layer of copper. It has high-temperature resistance, good electrical conductivity is not easy to break, and has low noise. It is suitable for cutting metals into shapes that meet the requirements.
- When cutting, it can be processed by arc cutting. The carbon rod and the workpiece are at an angle of 45. The carbon rod must be kept dry, and it must be dried before use when wet.
- Tips: When used in the DC power supply, the carbon rod is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the workpiece is connected to the negative pole, which needs to be operated according to the working current.
