Walter Surface Technologies Backing Pad Assembly consists of a backer pad for sanding discs and a clamping nut. Designed to work with 4 ½ in. Coolcut (aluminum oxide) and Topcut (zirconia alumnia) sanding discs by Walter Surface Technologies, the backer pad is graded for maximum rotational speed of 13300 RPM. Sanding backer pad is manufactured using industrial quality, impact- resistant plastic that ensures flexibility. This flexible sanding disc pad can be used for weld blending or removal purposes and during finishing curved surface. The clamping nut is available to ensure firm placement on sanding disc.
