The WristWidget was invented by Wendy Medeiros, OTR, CHT (retired 2015). Fascinated by the versatility and beauty of hand-driven tasks, Wendy was driven from an early age to help those in need of hand movement rehabilitation to take back control of their lives. After having hand-sewed thousands of prototypes, she came up with the WristWidget's flawless design, and entered her work into wide distribution and focused research, with the hopes of promoting early detection and effective treatment of TFCC tears. Deeply involved with her brain child's development to this day, Wendy is eager to read your account of how the WristWidget transformed your life in our Reviews Section! Since 2006, the WristWidget has touched over 500,000 wrists globally. Our family makes every WristWidget with special care. We take pride in our understanding of the fine details of the wrist. Wendy's 25 years as an Occupational Therapist treating hands gives her great insight into this injury. We love hearing from you. We will always have a world where good hand surgeons, technology, and care is hard to find and expensive. There are 7 billion of us on this planet! It is our hopes that we can have an affordable way to diagnose and treat a TFCC tear quickly and effectively. We know that the WristWidget is a big part of the solution but we have more to learn! We are grateful to be a part of the solution and to be able to share this information with all of you. From our family to yours, "Happy Healing!"
